Key Levels
The session's price against the call wall, put wall, gamma flip and vol trigger, with the nearest level called out.
The Key Levels widget draws the session's price against the four levels that frame the day: call wall, put wall, gamma flip and vol trigger. The header names the nearest level and how far price is from it, so you can see at a glance what price is about to run into.
What it shows#
| Element | What it is |
|---|---|
| Nearest level (header) | The closest key level to price and its distance in percent |
| White line | Price through the session |
| NOW | The latest price |
| Call Wall / Put Wall | The strongest call and put strikes |
| Gamma Flip | Where dealer gamma changes sign |
| Vol Trigger | The HVL, the slower regime line |
Details opens the plan: every level sorted by price with its distance, and the net GEX split between open interest and today's volume.
Practical application#

The session. NQ spent the night near 31,350, climbed through the early morning and rallied into the call wall at 31,612.84 around 11:15 ET. It turned there and faded through the afternoon. At 3:00 PM it trades at 31,533 and the header reads Nearest level 31,527.07 · Gamma Flip · −0.02%: price is sitting right on the flip.
How to use it.
- When the header names the call wall as the nearest level in positive gamma, expect momentum to fade as price approaches it, as it did here.
- When the nearest level becomes the gamma flip, the regime is in play. Hold above it and the range continues; lose it and the vol trigger (31,501.57) and put wall (31,462.84) come into view.
- Read the distance, not just the name: −0.02% means price is on the level, not near it.
